內容簡介The effect of pore structure on slag penetration into refractory bricks was studied. Sintered alumina bodies with different pore structure were fabricated as model samples of bricks and the pore structure of the sintered bodies was quantitatively analyzed by mercury porosimetry. Slag penetration experiments were conducted at 1360 deg for 30 min by the button method. The following conclusions were drawn from this study.(1) Permeability should be used as the quantitative index of open pore structure, to predict the slag penetration area of refractory bricks.(2) Open pores that are better connected tend to increase the slag penetrated area. However, smaller pore diameter causes less slag penetration even if sintered bodies have better connected open pore because the viscosity of slag prevents slag from penetrating into open pores with smaller pore diameter
