內(nèi)容簡介The radiation absorption of SiC refractories was studied using 915 MHz microwaves and progressive mode irradiation. It was found that the absorption increased with a decrease of the silicon oxide that formed between SiC particles during firing. Utilizing this result, suitable refractories for microwave firing furnaces are being developed.
