內容簡介The relationship between the material value and the production cost of materials is a significant factor that must be considered in making business decisions, along with other factors that are constantly changing. Especially, the production costs can change, and whether the cost increases or decreases, can depend on the starting materials, social issues, and other factors. Therefore, to improve the production processes, there must be flexibility to respond/change in accordance with the relationship between the value and the cost. Detailed knowledge of the formation mechanism of materials is essential to make production processes that are flexible to change. Sol-gel processes are relatively popular as preparation methods for some functional ceramics and glasses, but theses processes still involve vague or unknown reaction mechanisms, for example the sol-gel formation mechanism for composites. Now the sol-gel method is proceeding into the stage of practical use, so it is important for sol-gel methods to be better understood to allow more optimization, innovation, and use.
