內(nèi)容簡介MgO-C bricks are commonly applied to the wear lining of various steel making furnaces such as electric furnaces, converters, and steel ladles. However, because their thermal conductivity is high they have the disadvantages of lowering the molten steel temperature and deforming the steel furnace shell. A carbon nano fiber (hereafter called CNF) has been investigated for improving the low thermal shock resistance of MgO-C brick with low carbon content. This paper describes the effect of nano technology on specific properties of low carbon MgO-C brick.
