內容簡介One of the functions of the taphole clay (mud) used in the blast furnace is to protect the bottom of the hearth and the hearth wall around the taphole so as to extend the service life of the furnace. When injected through the taphole, a taphole clay should spread properly along the hearth wall and pile up to form a steady foundation at the bottom. We developed a taphole clay that readily spreads and adheres to the old mud. The development and evaluation of the new product are described below.
