內(nèi)容簡介The penetration behavior of molten metal (Hg, Ag and steel) into porous refractories, that is, penetration behavior of non-wetting system has been studied experimentally and theoretically. A countermeasure to suppress the penetration of molten metal into porous refractories was suggested based on the experimental results and analysis. The penetration behavior was observed by using an X-ray radiographic apparatus. In case of steel penetration, the time dependence of penetration height was observed. The penetration behavior was analyzed using a capillary model in which a correction coefficient zeta_M was introduced. Zeta_M which include the effect of external pressure and physical properties of penetrated metal (1 sigma M COS theta M/pM\) was proposed.
