內(nèi)容簡介Thirty-odd years have passed since the first AOD furnace was operated. During that time, although magnesia-chrome brick used for the wear lining has gone through changes from materials for the wear lining of AOD furnaces have remained the same, that is, magnesia-chrome and dolomite. Although further improvement of conventional materials should continue, technical developments as shown below will become important in the medium and long term:(1) Chrome-free bricks that perform as well as or better than magnesia-chrome bricks(2) Application technologies that allow carbon-containing bricks to be used in AOD furnaces(3) Structural design and material technologies to suppress the wear of the tuyere and bricks around it
