內容簡介The magnesia industry is being influenced by positive long term fundamental developments, of which the growth in world population is the most important one. In the short run (from 2011 to 2014) the growth in demand for Dead Burned Magnesia (DBM) and Electro Fused Magnesia (EFM) will be moderate: 2,7 % growth per year in consumption according to Nedmag. When the growth in demand from 201 1 to 2014 is being matched with the growth in supply by realised capacity expansions, there will be a slight shortage in DBM and an oversupply in EFM, according to Nedmag. Nedmag expects the major cost elements related to magnesia production to go up, and expects that these costs are being transferred into the supply chain towards end-users.
